From Brand Refresh to a Unified Digital Experience

From Brand Refresh to a Unified Digital Experience

From Brand Refresh to a Unified Digital Experience

The project began with a focused rebranding exercise for RemoteDesk. The client wanted to retain the existing name and logo, so the challenge was to evolve the visual identity around the elements that were already established.

Rebranding & Visual Identity

The existing identity was refined with a new technology-oriented colour direction, while retaining the familiarity of the original brand. A secondary colour palette was introduced to create greater flexibility, improve visual hierarchy, and bring more clarity across different brand touchpoints.

With the new visual direction established, I developed a comprehensive brand book covering the core rules and applications of the identity — from brand colours and typography to social media, digital assets, print collateral, and marketing communications.

Building a Scalable Brand System

The next step was turning the identity into a system that the wider team could actually use.

I created reusable templates for social media posts, Meta ads, Google Ads, presentations, brand documents, and marketing collateral. This established consistency across communication while making it easier for the team to produce new content without compromising the visual language.

The same system was extended across presentation decks and other frequently used brand files, creating a more unified experience wherever the RemoteDesk brand appeared.

With the brand foundation in place, the focus shifted to the website.

I conducted UX research to understand the product, audience, communication goals, and existing experience. This was followed by moodboards and visual references to establish the creative direction before moving into wireframing and information architecture.

Once the structure and direction were approved, I developed high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes. The approved designs were then handed over for development, while I continued working on the visual assets required for the website.

Content & Marketing Design

The visual system was extended beyond static design into motion and marketing content.

I created brand videos and marketing videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram, along with reusable video templates in After Effects and Canva. These templates allowed different types of content to be produced faster while maintaining consistency with the new brand identity.

Website and campaign imagery was also created and art-directed to ensure that the visual language remained consistent across digital channels.

The final stage focused on the RemoteDesk product itself.

The application UI was remodelled to align with the refreshed brand and the visual system established across the website and marketing ecosystem. I worked on updating the interface, improving visual consistency, and designing the dark mode experience.

Additional CX research was conducted to identify areas where the existing product experience could be improved. These insights informed UI updates and helped bring the product experience closer to the new brand direction.

The Outcome

The project evolved from a brand refresh into a broader brand, marketing, web, and product design system — creating a consistent visual experience across RemoteDesk's identity, communications, website, and application.
